Euganea Film festival: dates, locations, and program
The Euganea Film Festival, a film festival now in its 13th edition, is back again this year. As the name suggests, the event takes place in the Euganean Hills, a fabulous place to spend the summer and enjoy the movies that participate in the competition. Among the vineyards filled with grapes and the olive trees, visitors will be able to watch the premieres of short movies, animations, documentaries, and movies by first time film makers and famous directors. Among the participants in this year's edition of the Euganea Film Festival, running from June 27th to August 14th, are: Edward Winspeare with “In God's Grace”, Alessandro Rossetto with “Piccola Patria”, and Jonathan Nossiter with “Natural Resistance”.
The beauty of the event consists in the multiplicity of events. The program includes not only movies, but also animation workshops for kids, wine tastings, walks on the hills, and much more. Among the events related to the festival, we recommend “Paesaggi con Vista” (on August 12, 13, 14), held under the stars in the beautiful Venda amphitheater. The locations of the Euganea Film Festival are many and they include farms, castles, restaurants, palaces, gardens, and obviously movie theaters (see the interactive map).
